Brian Kemp, the Republican governor of Georgia, announced earlier this week that restaurants and several other service industry businesses could reopen on Friday, April 24. This comes despite the warnings of health and epidemiology experts that a spike in coronavirus cases is very likely.
Ryan Pernice, who owns and operates Osteria Mattone, as well as other restaurants in Atlanta, does not plan on opening any of them this month.
